The sadness of my friends funeral was lifted by one of the best send offs ever. His friends who run the Phoenix created a wonderful celebration of my friends life. The food and drink they served us was amazing.

Dance here with Morris side regularly. Cozy bar in winter and Christmas carols were lovely, led by the landlord. Food is very good too, having eaten here a number of times. Good Guest ales. Highly recommended.
Very much a pub-restaurant with a good choice of ales and a good menu. Staff are friendly and service is reasonably quick. Decor is traditional with a pub bar at the front and restaurant behind. Has a nice pub garden too.
Spur of the moment first visit.Lovely welcome, comfortable tables and chairs, soft background music. Short menu but covers most tastes. We had the Veal and the prawn dishes, truly well prepared, tasty and really enjoyed. Thank you, we will be back.
